Dear EV owner,
Plug in BC is looking for your help. We are a collaborative of public and non-profit organizations with the aim of easing the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) in British Columbia, and this summer we are launching a B.C.-wide campaign, Emotive, to raise public awareness about EVs.
Through talking to EV owners and conducting research, we now know that the FEEL and EXPERIENCE of driving an EV has huge sway in convincing someone to buy an EV. So this summer, our campaign goal is to tell British Columbians how FUN it is to drive an EV!
We also know that the best messengers of the EV experience are current EV owners. Peer-to-peer influence is important and we believe that one of the best ways to bring awareness to EVs in B.C. is to share personal stories that resonate. Therefore, we are looking for a small anecdote, story, fun fact or anything else about your personal experience with electric vehicles that you want to share. We would consider sharing these stories on our social media channels and/or through the campaign's other promotional materials.
Specifically, we are looking for you to answer some or all of the following questions:
We suggest your answers should be 50-150 words per question. Also, if you have any relevant photos or videos that you are happy for us to consider sharing on our social media channels, feel free to send these as well.
With your help, we can tell the public about the EV driving experience from the people who know it best - you!
Please let us know if you have any questions about the campaign or what we are looking for and we look forward to hearing about your EV experiences.
Please send your stories by Friday, May 30 to Eve Hou,
Please use the following subject line in your email: 'My EV experience'.
Thank you for your time,Eve Hou, Metro Vancouver
