Canadian Electric Vehicles Featured for New Government Rebates
Jan 27, 2017 - Longtime VEVA member Canadian Electric Vehicles was featured in a press release for new BC Government rebates. The rebates, averaging 10-15% are aimed at industrial/farm/campus vehicles which have been purpose built by CanEV as well as imported large electric buses. (more ...)

Richmond Ev User Aims To Charge Others Up
Mar 10, 2016 - Richmond News - John Roston, an adjunct professor at the McGill University Schulich School of Music is a Nissan leaf owner in Richmond who has started a website called PlugInRichmond.ca. Presently, there are 26 charging stations in Richmond. There were about 2,400 EVs in B.C. as of mid-2015. ICBC records show only 76 EVs in Richmond, as of December 2014. (more ...)

ElectraFest 2015 Report
Jul 20, 2015 - Georgia Straight - On July 18, the 20th edition of ElectraFest, the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association’s annual get-together, took place in the Concord Pacific parking lot just off Expo Boulevard. With at least a dozen manufacturers exhibiting their wares and free test drives/rides available throughout the day, it was the largest turnout ever for ElectraFest. Scattered among the offerings from manufacturers such as Nissan, Kia, Mitsubishi, BMW, Mercedes, and Tesla were a couple of new kids on the block. (more ...)
